The EU’s Erasmus+ programme assists the education, work placement, and training of students, graduates, and university academic staff.

Partner countries and educational mobility

The University of Wrocław coordinates actions related to educational mobility, including:

Student study abroad programmes;
Student and graduate internship abroad programmes;
Student short-term trips
Teaching and training programmes for academic teachers;
Training programmes for non-teaching staff.

Student study abroad programmes

The Erasmus+ study programme offers financial aid for students who undertake part of their studies at universities in partner countries. The offer is aimed at students of the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programmes. In case of the FPA students, W przypadku studentów WFA, a prerequisite for undertaking part of a degree programme or research projects is the signing of an agreement between the Faculty and a selected university in a partner country..

A guide for those wishing to study abroad under the Erasmus+ programme

The admission of students to study at a partner university and the administration of study visits are carried out in accordance with the regulations drawn up each year for each Faculty. The admission and settlement regulations for the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy for the 2026/2027 academic year are available below:

Student and graduate internship programme

The Erasmus+ internship programme offers financial aid for FPA students and graduates undertaking internships at various institutions (enterprise/company, reesearch institution, non-profit organisation or other institution: museum, library, hospital) in partner countries, with the exception of EU institutions. The offer is aimed at students of the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programmes, as well as graduates within one year of defending their thesis. At each of the three levels of study, you can take part in one or more study abroad placements lasting up to 12 months in total. The minimum time abroad for an internship is 2 months. The internship should be related to the degree programme.

MOST

MOST is a student and PhD student mobility programme. Since 1999, it has enjoyed unflagging popularity, enabling students to study for a semester or a full academic year at one of the partner universities in Poland.

The following are eligible to apply for a place under the MOST programme :

first-cycle students who have completed their second semester;
second-cycle students who have completed their first semester;
PhD students who have completed their first year of training at the doctoral school.

Recruitment for MOST takes place twice a year:

15 April to 15 May (recruitment for the next Winter semester and the entire next academic year);
31 October to 30 November (recruitment for the next Summer semester).

Do you think that MOST is not for you because you have already been on Erasmus? That’s no problem at all! The principle also works the other way around – the fact that you are going on the MOST programme does not disqualify you from applying for a place under Erasmus+.
