Why study with us?

The University of Wrocław is an intellectual hub with a long tradition and the strong position within group of distinguished Polish and foreign universities. Among past/present members of our Institute of Theoretical Physics are:

Jan Lopuszanski – one of the fathers of supersymmetry,
Jerzy Lukierski – has huge contribution to quantum field theory, supersymmetry, superparticles and introduced the kappa-Minkowski space and kappa-Poincare group.

We have experienced lecturers who actively conduct research in collaboration with international institutes. You will have a great freedom in choosing a topic of your master thesis and then, having the supervisor, you will be able to apply to our PhD School. All PhD students get scholarships.
There is also an added value effect of our campus – located in the historic center of Wroclaw with all facilities to work, rest and eat. No annoying and time consuming commuting.
