Therefore, studying the behavior of different materials under perturbation is a key factor to understand the possible structural phase transitions of many materials that are formed in environments where specific conditions of temperature and pressure are met; and try to understand how gas giants and rocky planets are formed and evolve over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The properties of rocks under plausible conditions existing in Jupiter, Saturn and two other exoplanets far from the solar system, have been theoretically predicted, and it was observed that rocks in these environments evidence different properties when compared to Earth rocks, showing metallic-like electrical and thermal conductivity. These properties can induce different magnetic fields that will have different amplitudes and longer longevities, thus enhancing heat flow to the surface of the terrestrial-type planet and consequently increasing the probabilities of occurrence of planet-quakes and volcanic activity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Abstract:&nbsp; There is substantial interest among the mineral physics, geophysics and astrophysics communities to study phase-transitions of compounds that are constituents of the deep mantle of the Earth.
