The topic of this year&#8217;s School is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Multi-messenger nuclear astrophysics in the 21st century<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The School is jointly organized by the Institute of Theoretical Physics and the Institute of Astronomy, both of the University of Wroc\u0142aw, the Helmholtz-Centre Dresden-Rossendorf (Germany), the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Uppsala University (Sweden), and the German Center for Astrophysics in G\u00f6rlitz (Germany)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The subjects of the 61st Winter School include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explosive astrophysical phenomena \u2013 the physics of supernovae and neutron star mergers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Astrophysical messengers \u2013 neutrinos, gravitational waves and gamma-ray<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nuclear astrophysics experiments and theory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nucleosynthesis and galactic chemical evolution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Metal poor stars and their observations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">The deadline to register for the School is until 28 February 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n<div
