Joint degree BA Programme in Applied Physics

On 17-18 March 2025, the University of Wrocław hosted the first meeting of the participants of the project to develop a joint degree programme BA Programme in Applied Physics implemented as part of the Arqus alliance. The programme is being implemented with the support received by the University of Wrocław from the National Academic Exchange Agency programme Support for European University Alliances (FERS.01.05-IP.08-0219/23).
The workshop was attended by guests from universities developing a joint BA in Applied Physics degree programme. From Vilnius University, staff from the Faculty of Physical Sciences and, online, the programme coordinator attended. From the University of Granada, staff from the Faculty of Applied Physics attended the meeting, while from the University of Padua, representatives from the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy and the coordinator of joint study programmes attended the meeting. Our university was represented by the coordinator of the creation of the course, dr Tomasz Greczyło, prof. UWr, dr Elwira Wachowicz, dr Robert Kucharczyk, dr Cezary Juszczak and dr Małgorzata Dowlaszewicz – coordinator of joint study programmes from the Arqus WG06 working group, Urszula Broda – representative of the International Office, and Emilia Wilanowska – institutional coordinator of Arqus at the University of Wrocław.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 2025.
