Deviations from the predictions of the special theory of relativity and quantum field theory

The papers published on the 9th of May 2022, Andrea Bevilacqua, Jerzy Kowalski-Glikman, and Wojciech Wiślicki continue their studies from the work published last year. The purpose of this research is developing theoretical tools allowing to study phenomena related to deviations from the predictions of the special theory of relativity and quantum field theory for phenomena in which quantum gravity effects begin to play a role.

The authors demonstrated that one of such phenomena is the difference in decay time of moving muons and anti-muons. This difference will be observable in a future generation of accelerators.
