Superconductivity in high-entropy alloy system containing terbium

Lanthanides belong to the group of critical elements with a versatile application in modern industry. Their unique properties result from the characteristic electronic structure.
Scientists from the Institute of Experimental Physics FPA – dr Piotr Sobota, mgr Bartosz Rusin, and dr hab. Rafał Idczak, prof. UWr – in collaboration with colleagues at the Institite of Low Temperatures and Structural Research PAS recently published an article titled Superconductivity in High-Entropy Alloy System Containing Tb on the influence of doping a high-entropy alloy with one of lanthanides, terbium, on its superconducting properties.
