XQCD international conference, 2-4 July 2025

The XQCD international conference (International Conference on QCD in Extreme Conditions), organised by the Incubator of Scientific Excellence – Centre for Super-dense Fluid Simulation of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy will take place from 2 to 4 July 2025.
This will be the 21st edition of the prestigious cycle of scientific conferences dedicated to the latest results of research into the behaviour of strongly interacting matter at extremely high temperatures and densities as well as related subjects.
The themes of this year’s edition include:
- Quantum chromodynamics (QCD) at non-zero temperatures and densities;
- Phenomenology of heavy ion collisions;
- Phase diagram of strongly interacting matter;
- Properties of quark-gluon plasma;
- Neutron stars.
Invited speakers:
- Christian Fischer (University of Giessen, Germany)
- Matthias Kaminski (University of Alabama, USA) –
- Sanjay Reddy (INT, Seattle, USA)
- Andreas Schmitt (University of Southampton, Great Britain)
- Sipaz Sharma (Technical University of Munich, Germany)
- Leonardo Tinti (Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce)
The conference will be accompanied by workshops for PhD students wishing to broaden their knowledge on the topics discussed during the conference, on 30.06 and 1.07.
