We cordially invite to the 1st Friendly Rapid Chess Tournament for the Cup of Deans of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy and the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Environmental Management.

The tournament will take place on 25 March at 4:00 PM and will be a friendly event.

The meeting will be held in the FESaEM UWr Faculty Council meeting room, Cybulskiego st. 30 (3rd floor). The Tournament is open to any Student, PhD Student, or Employee of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy or the Faculty of Earth Sciences UWr.

The Tournament will be played in the Swiss system, 6 rounds, speed: 10 minutes per game + 5 seconds added after each move per player. The tournament is estimated to conclude at 6:30 – 7:00 PM.

The sign-up deadline is 20 March, 8:00 PM. Number of places limited, the order of applications is decisive.

Refreshments will be available during the tournament. The Cup of Deans and other prizes are also planned. On behalf of the Deans of both Faculties we cordially invite you to participate in the event!
