International Physics Competition Náboj 2024 – event report
On 15 November 2024 over 1600 secondary school students from six countries competed in the International Physics Competition Náboj. In Poland, the rivalisation took place in three academic institutions: Gdańsk University of Technology, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and University of Wrocław.
Faculty of Physics and Astronomy was the host of the Wrocław edition of Náboj, hosting 150 students divided into 30 teams.
The teams on the podium were:
- Academic Secondary School of the Silesian University of Technology (members: Jakub Fudal, Dominik Styla, Igor Popowski, Ksawery Matuszek, Jakub Fraś)
- Adam Mickiewicz Secondary School no. 3 in Wrocław (members: Maria Pezda, Stanisław Sroka, Hanna Osajda, Łukasz Ganczarek, Dominik Borowski)
- Edward Dembowski Bilingual Secondary School no.1 in Gliwice (members: Andrzej Ajdukiewicz, Magdalena Iwańska, Bartosz Sporysiak, Joanna Wolińska, Michał Brodala)
