Brief program overview
The International Master’s Degree course in Astrophysics is offered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Wrocław in Poland. It is a two-track (physics- and astronomy-oriented) two-year study program in English that provides students with state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in theoretical, observational, and computational astrophysics. The program covers a vast spectrum of topics ranging from practice in the University’s astronomical observatory and data analysis to foundations of theoretical astrophysics and high-performance computer simulations of astrophysical phenomena. The study is accomplished with a research project in the framework of a Master’s thesis which can be conducted with internationally acclaimed members of the Faculty as well as their collaborators across the globe.
